VICA is a one-person studio, and privacy is treated the way I'd want mine to be treated. In short: Loupe collects as little as possible, sells nothing to anyone, and runs on your device wherever it can.
What data I collect
No data is collected. Loupe does not collect personal or usage data. Nothing is sent to VICA's servers.
On-device processing
Loupe collects nothing. Your photos, the faces, scenes, text (OCR), and similar-photo data are processed and stored on your Mac. The only network connection is Apple's reverse-geocoding service, which turns GPS coordinates into place names: only the coordinates are sent, and the result is cached locally.
Third parties
Payments are handled by Apple's StoreKit 2.
No advertising SDKs, trackers, or analytics that follow you across apps or sites are used.
Your rights
You can request a copy of any data associated with you, or ask me to delete it, at any time. Write to [email protected] and I'll handle it personally.
